Data Protection

The Data Protection Act 2018 and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) came into force in May 2018.  The GDPR only applies to personal information, i.e, information about identifiable living individuals and to anyone who processes, stores or is the subject of personal data.

The Diocese of St Albans Multi-Academy Trust takes its responsibility under data protection regulations seriously, ensuring that we meet and comply with our obligations in the use of, processing and holding of personal data.  The Trust is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for all our academies.

Freedom of Information

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 gives the public right of access to information the Trust produces in the course of its work.

The DSAMAT Freedom of Information Publication Scheme commits to make information available to the public as part of its normal business activities.
