Chairman to the Trust Board of Directors

We have been very lucky over the past 3 years to have benefited from the knowledge, expertise and dedication that Paul Dickens has brought to the role of Chairman to the Trust Board of Directors.  Paul has decided that the time has come for him to step down from his current position as Chair. Paul has been with the Trust since its inception, leading the transformation of the Trust from a new MAT to an established organisation supporting schools across three Local Authorities.  He has been critical in developing our ethos and vision, and we are delighted that he will continue as one of our Directors and bring his wisdom and experience to the Board.   

A nomination for his replacement as Chair was approved in March 2020, and we are delighted share that Mike Bailey CBE, has been appointed as the new Chair.   Mike has been working with the Trust since September 2018 and has held positions on the Board of Directors, Regional Hub Board (West) and Vice Chair of the Board of Governors at Manshead CE Academy.  He shares the founding ethos and vision of the Trust and has a strong understanding of where we are.  He is looking forward to being able to bring his knowledge, and his previous experience as a Senior Civil Servant/Chair of a local charitable Housing Association to help us continue to move forwards.
