We are delighted to announce Churchfield CE Academy, Hertfordshire, are currently the top 28th school (out of 482) in the Hertfordshire League Tables for Primary Schools based on the KS2 results from September 2019 with 88% of pupils reaching the expected standard in reading, writing and maths.
Churchfield CE Academy is located in Cheshunt Wash, Hertfordshire. It is an inclusive school mixed primary providing education to pupils from a diverse range of backgrounds. They benefit from an on-site nursery moving onto high school in year 6.
They have been rated “Good” in the latest Ofsted report, proudly received comments “Leadership of the early years is good. This ensures that children get off to a positive start in their education and develop strong attitudes to learning.” “Leaders and trustees have a clear understanding of the school’s strengths and weaknesses” and “Pupils make good progress and their outcomes have improved considerably. In 2018, attainment at both key stages 1 and 2 was above national averages at the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics.”
