Anna Rogers – CEO

Anna has overall responsibility for the Trust and is accountable to the board of Directors and Members. Anna has worked in education for 24 years and is passionate about school improvement and ensuring that children and students get the highest quality of education, enjoy their time in school and develop deep-rooted values underpinned by Christian ethos. Anna has been a leader in education since 2002, has run curriculum departments, led pastoral needs in year groups, been a SENDCo, a Church of England Headteacher, run an education consultancy for several schools, delivered Headteacher induction for the Diocese of St Albans and curriculum/assessment CPD for a Teaching School and Local Authority. Anna received an outstanding SIAMS inspection during her Headship. Recently Anna has run a successful Teacher Training organisation as a Director in a large Trust, growing the provision to five partner hubs and received an outstanding Ofsted for Primary and for Secondary in May 2023. Anna is delighted to be leading the Diocese of St Albans Multi Academy Trust

As the Head of Estates, David is responsible for overseeing the strategic development, management, and maintenance of the estate across all schools within the Trust. His role is pivotal in ensuring that our schools’ facilities not only meet regulatory standards but also support a safe, inspiring, and conducive learning environment for students, staff, and the community.
David is passionate about ensuring that every school within the Diocese of St Albans Multi Academy Trust benefits from safe, inspiring, and high-quality facilities that support the learning and wellbeing of all students. With over 20 years experience in property and facilities management, project management, construction and health and safety, he brings a comprehensive understanding of property strategy, project delivery, and operational management.
Key responsibilities in his role include strategic estates planning, project management, health and safety compliance, sustainability initiatives, maintenance, operations and stakeholder engagement.
Head of Finance – Claire Jones

Claire heads up the finance team ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of the Trust’s finances, whilst supporting our schools with financial decision making. She leads the Shared Service Centre delivering end to end finances for our primary schools and is passionate about making every penny count for our pupils. Claire is a qualified management accountant with more than 18 years experience in finance roles from both the commercial and education sectors. Her time in education has seen her work in maintained schools and academies as a Business Manager, Finance Manager and CFO. Claire is also a governor at a local maintained school.
